An encouraging Spurgeon devotion this morning, speaking to people who are going through hard times. As you find your relief in Christ, you “dig a well” for others to draw from afterwards. I love the line – “Travelers have been delighted to see the footprint of man on a barren shore, and we love to see the way marks of pilgrims while passing through the vale of tears.” Knowing that someone else has been on that barren shore before raises incredible hope in me.
Be strong and of good courage!
