Abraham Lincoln said, “I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.” We need prayer, sometimes just to get through the day, because we acknowledge that God the Creator not only knows what is best and that He is able. Able to hear, able to answer, able to help, able to act. Our confession is that there is a Living God who hears us. And scripture tells us that He wants His house (church) to be a house of prayer for the nations (Is. 56:7). Not just the Syrias and Nepals of the world, but our Pinedales too.
Join us Wednesdays at 7pm as we pray together. Who but God can act? Who but us can ask?
