This Sunday will be the first Sunday of Advent which is a message of Hope to the whole world.  “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light…” (Is. 9:2)

This same Sunday will be part of our outreach, Further Afield, where we invite leaders from different churches to speak to our congregation about what the Lord is speaking to them for the broader Christian community in Sublette County.

This week we’re grateful that Duke Edwards of the Wilderness Church (AG) will be sharing God’s word with us. Duke and his family have been living in Pinedale for several years now and their heart for outreach is awesome.

Because Duke will be with us this Sunday, we will be celebrating Communion this week as a symbol of our unity in Christ. After Duke’s message and Communion we will also have a time of corporate prayer to bless Duke, his family and Wilderness Church.
