This Saturday at 6pm is the “Parade of Lights,” please remember to join us as we walk down Pine Street singing Christmas carols.  I know that it will be a bit cold and dark, but what an opportunity to lift Jesus a bit higher in our community.  And if things go the way we’re hoping, there may a bit of a surprise during the event…

Also this Saturday after the parade, come back to the church building and warm up with some cider and hot chocolate, then stay and watch “Amazing Grace,” the story of William Wilberforce with us.

And if that were not enough, Sunday is both the second Sunday of Advent and our potluck meal; a perfect chance to celebrate in a real way the message of Peace that the angels proclaimed that night to the shepherds.
